8. Combine each of the almost similar regulations

This is more difficult than it at first seems (which explains why it hasn't happened before...)

There are 3 sets of Playing Regulations

• Saturday competition (2 dayers, 1 dayers and finals), 
• Sunday 50 Over competition 
• Kookaburra Cup Super 20 competition.

These are presented separately on the website. ( www.qsdca.com/au/play-regulations )

In 2018 an A5 booklet was made by simply placing all three documents in series then print and staple. (Check the page numbers if you don't believe me...)


While many individual regs are similar, there are some which are very different.
Further down is a detailed analysis of all this

Warehouse has a common regulations document and a separate document for Saturday and Sunday games. I don't like this because it can make certain rules hard to find.

Having all 3 documents published together effectively acts as a promotion for the other competitions for people who do not realise that Super 20 (say) exists.


Here's a reorganisation and renumbering.
Broadly,

• 0-6 is Pre-season Organisation SAME IN ALL COMPETITIONS
• 7-9 is Pre-Game Setup MOSTLY THE SAME  IN ALL COMPETITIONS
• 10-12 is Two Day match Saturday stuff SATURDAY TWO DAYERS ONLY
• 13-15  are actually repeated in 26 and 29
• 20-29.1 is Limited over rules A DIFFERENT VERSION FOR EACH COMPETITION
• ..... have sections for Sat 1 dayers, Sunday 1 dayers, Super 20
• 30-39 is unusual things that happen at games (mostly) SAME IN ALL COMPETITIONS
• ....................(except 33, 37, 38, 39)
• 40-48 Code of Behaviour, Player Protection, Commissioners SAME IN ALL COMPETITIONS
• ...............maybe put all the Appendixes last.....
• 50 Awards A BIT OF A FISH OUT OF WATER? (includes all competitions)
