Why?
It is a fact that we are permitted to accept or reject any Law of Cricket that we like within our own association's competitions.
It's true that "Mankad" is controversial. And confusing... since it has several subtle changes in recent years.
But it's fair play to catch out batsmen sneaking a head start on their next run. And that is the way the current Law 41.16 is framed.
Could write more here but I feel it's not likely to be adopted.
